Maintenance
So that your parquet floor stays beautiful for many years to come, we recommend that you maintain it in the following way:
If you have used a DevoNatural® varnish to finish your parquet floor:
This means you opted for a stain and wear resistant finish!
Floors treated in this way are fully protected against penetration of moisture and grime. Using DevoNatural Transit and Passage even makes them resistant to a wide range of chemical products!
If you have used DevoNatural® High Solid Oil to finish your parquet floor:
This means that you opted for a finish that preserves the natural appearance and feel of your wooden floor!
Floors treated in this way are fully protected against penetration of moisture and grime. In order to continue protecting your floor, you will need to regularly maintain your parquet with DevoNatural Wood Soap!
If you have used a DevoNatural® wax to finish your parquet floor:
This means that you opted for a authentic finish!
A waxed parquet floor is less resistant than an oiled or varnished parquet floor, especially if the floor is heavily used, but it is easy to repair without any sanding!
If you have used DevoNatural® Soap to finish your parquet floor:
This means that you opted for a very soft, natural look!
Soaped floors have a distinctive, natural glow. In order to protect this appearance, however, you will have to regularly maintain the floor using the same soap.
